The
Parish Council is required to maintain accurate and detailed financial records which are subject to an annual internal and external audit in accordance with local authority regulations. The summary of this forms part of the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) which is reproduced below. The Parish Clerk acts as the Responsible Financial Officer and each year a Councillor is appointed to supplement that role as Treasurer. In addition to rentals and fees from the usage of the various village assets, income is also derived from the village precept which is charged to every household as part of their Council Tax.
